The dark green with no Jardin in it ( the black stuff ) is the rarest .It is valued
at 4 times a diamond of equal carat weight. Others are priced accordingly.
Opals:
Opals are from Australia ( Coober Pedy Mine ) this is the rarest in Australia
as it has operated for a long time and are all mined out .
Lightening Ridge and many other places there .
Peru has the finest and the rarest in the world now ...which I have some....
they the pink and the extremely rare blue which is like petrified sea water , my
supplier says . 80.00-120.00 per carat according to the colour . They are worth
every penny , believe me .
There are other countries especially South America and locally that produce .
Example is Nevada which has the rarest in the world ( black opal .)
